For instance, universities can have libraries on their SL campus for students who study library science to practice. They can also have clinic center for medical students to practice, hotels for hospitality students to practice, and so on.

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with your last blog entry about "real world application" needed to be applied to the current popularity of online learning! I think many other teachers/educators can agree with me that our learning came at its most significant amount during our student teaching internship time. Furthermore, I do believe that the duration of such practical work experience also plays a large role in our professional growth and development. I will admit - my year-long student teaching internship at MSU was testing at times, but I know that it was very worthwhile and I reaped the benefits of such an extended learning experience!
